Regenerative medicine and biomedical research often employ human mesenchymal stem cells (hMSCs)  in studies on connective tissue repair, immune response-based diseases, and inflammatory diseases, to better understand etiology and assess treatment approaches. This application note presents a method for purifying and expanding hMSCs in vitro to reach sufficient quantities for experimentation.
