Scientific Poster: Evaluation of a new multiplex PCR assay for detection of STEC from beef meat samples

In this study, the performance of the SureTect STEC PCR Assay for the detection of STEC from beef meats is evaluated against the ISO 13136:2012 reference method. The SureTect STEC PCR workflow demonstrates improved performance and a faster time to result compared to the ISO reference method. The SureTect workflow also utilises simple enrichment in BPW without the need for antibiotics or proprietary media.
