Simultaneous Quantitative Determination and Screening of Pesticides in Fruits and Vegetables using LC-Q-Orbitrap-MS
Available on demand
Pesticide residue analysis is challenging. A high number of substances (>500) need to be tested for, some of which are nearly always present, and some of which are found very infrequently. Scientists have two analytical requirements: quantifying known associated pesticides using analytical quality control (AQC), and screening for any additional pesticides.
Learn how the LC-Q-Orbitrap-MS allows you to integrate both approaches into one measurement for a more efficient workflow. The favored combination of full scan and vDIA (variable Data Independent Acquisition) will be demonstrated.
You will learn:
• How you can perform combined quantitative and qualitative analysis in one measurement.
• The different acquisition modes of the Q-Orbitrap-MS (including non-target acquisition).
• Methods of data analysis.
• The quantitative and qualitative performance evaluation, according to the EU guidelines, for validation and AQC (SANCO/12571/2013), which demonstrates that this new technology is fit for purpose.
