Molecular Distribution Mapping of Herbicide on Plant Leaves using LAESI-MS Imaging

In this webinar, Dr. Stephen Rumbelow (Innovation Support and Claims Substantiation Manager, Croda, Inc.) and Holly Henderson (Applications Scientist, Protea Biosciences) will discuss the use of the LAESI DP-1000 system to investigate the influence of an agrochemical adjuvant on the spatial distribution of a commercial herbicide (2,4-D) when applied as aqueous droplets to the surfaces of poinsettia and cabbage leaves. The LAESI-MSI ambient technique enabled both 2D and 3D molecular images to be generated that illustrate the spatial distribution and penetration of the active into the leaf.
