Introduction to FT-IR Spectroscopy: Theory & Applications
Available on demand
Event Overview:
This webinar is aimed at students and researchers who are new to IR spectroscopy and would like to become more familiar with the theory as well as the key transmission and reflectance techniques used. After a general introduction to the reasons why IR spectroscopy is so useful, the audience will be given examples of real life applications in a variety of industries. The traditional techniques as well as the more modern approaches are presented.
Key Learning Objectives:
- to familiarize the audience with fundamentals of IR spectroscopy from a practical point of view
- to develop an awareness of the new technological developments in modern IR spectroscopy
Who Should Attend:
Undergraduates that use spectroscopy, such as chemistry students (possibly physics/natural sciences too). Also anyone working in the analytical instruments industry.
