"This counter uses disposable hemocytometer like slides for counting cells and has the option of counting trypan blue stained cells. I bought this counter after carefully comparing other similar bench top counters available in the market. We compared its accuracy by comparing the count with a hemocytometer and it came out very accurate. Overall its a valuable product. The pros are: Easy to use, accurate, smaller footprint and a colored screen. The cons are: Data storage, single use slides and inability to run without an external power source. A rechargeable battery would have been a great addition."
