"We have had two of these for nearly 10 years and they are without doubt the most durable pieces of kit I have in my laboratory, they even survive student use. Spectral quality is excellent, transmission is approx 10% of full beam energy, we can easily analyse between 200-300 samples per day and scrape the samples off with blades if they need to be retained or vac them off with a domestic cleaner. I could not praise them more. The only thing to break is the saphire anvil, which we replace every few years."
