Our range of products for the laboratory concentrates on the widely used microplate format, from 24- to 384- wells. A wide range of materials are offered including Polypropylene deep well plates and PCR plates together with polystyrene Assay Plates with either plastic or very thin glass bases for High Content Screening.

In addition to the patented Microlute SPE system, the Porvair Sciences Ltd range of microplates includes Filter, Assay (solid and clear bottom), PCR, Deep well and Shallow well storage plates. Plates can be supplied sterile and tissue-culture treated ready to use in cell-based assays. 

Working in conjunction with leading laboratories around the world, Porvair Sciences Ltd has developed new technologies for evaporation and sealing of microplates including the Ultravap and MiniVap range of evaporators and the MiniSeal II plate sealer that enhance reliability, convenience, accuracy and throughput of analytical procedures throughout life science research. 

Our Chromatrap business unit focusses on cutting-edge technology for molecular biology sample preparation. Chromatrap offers a novel solid-state system for chromatin and methylated DNA enrichment prior to qPCR or sequencing.
