The company believes that an opportunity exists for EP-IR to replace Non-Dispersive Infrared (NDIR), Fourier Transform Infrared (FTIR) and gas chromatographic technologies currently used for process monitoring and environmental applications. The company is now shipping production systems, and presently has installations at multiple sites spanning a range of industries.

The company is managed by a team of Silicon Valley and instrument company veterans and has more than $5 million of venture capital backing to date.

TECHNOLOGY

Aspectrics' products are based upon its patented Encoded Photometric Infrared Spectroscopy (EP-IR) technology invented and reduced to practice by the company’s founder and CTO, Thomas W. Hagler, Ph.D. This technology enables Aspectrics to produce multi-application chemical composition analyzers, based upon a universal EP-IR hardware platform.
