Exceptional resolution!
Application Area:Rapidly analyze oxidative species via UPLC
"The Zorbax RRHD diphenyl column works as advertised! We've successfully resolved varying oxidative species using this column, at 6 minutes per run. This will be a workhorse moving forward"

"One excellent point from Agilent is the booklet inside the box and with all information regarding the column is clearly described. In terms of capacity of separation, this column is really excellent but the biggest problem of this column is its’ lifetime. Only after less than 1000 of injections of clean samples (plasma or buffers extracted by SPE for example), the peak shape deteriorates very quickly i.e a lot of tailing. This happens several times even when using an in-line frit before the column. Even after a thorough cleaning of the column, you will not be able to get back a good peak shape. By comparison with columns from the competitors, similar columns from Waters (Acquity) and from Phenomenex (Kinetex) are much better alternatives, especially if you just check the price. For the same amount of money, you will be able to inject 3-5 times more on Waters and Phenomenex columns."
Agilent ZORBAX 300Å StableBond columns are an ideal choice for the reproducible separations of proteins and peptides for two reasons. Wide-pore, 300Å columns are necessary for an efficient separation of proteins and peptides, or other large molecules, in order to allow these analytes to completely access the bonded phase. 300StableBond columns are unmatched in their durability at low pH, such as with TFA-containing mobile phases. For LC/MS separations at low pH, 300StableBond columns can also be used with formic acid and acetic acid mobile phase modifiers.
These columns are available in five different bonded phases (C18, C8, C3, and CN) for selectivity and recovery optimization of proteins and polypeptides. To further increase sample recovery and improve efficiency for difficult proteins, 300StableBond columns can be used up to 80 °C. Capillary and nano columns can be used for either 1-D or 2-D proteomics separations.
