The XGT-1000WR Energy Dispersive X-Ray Fluorescence (EDXRF) spectrometer provides quantitative and qualitative non-destructive analysis of all elements from Sodium (Na) to Uranium (U) for solid, liquid, powders and particulate samples.

This instrument is designed specifically to address the environmental compliance for lead-free legistraiton, or more accurately, the Restriction of Hazardous Substances directive -RoHS - which will come into effect July 1, 2006. This legislation restricts the use of Pb, Hg, Cd and other organic substances used in the manufacture of electrical and electronic equipment (EEE).

The detection limit of the XGT-1000WR is enhanced for the 5 elements involved in this testing (Hg, Pb, Cd, Cr, Br) by the use of a unique primary filter. The XGT Series introduces many exclusive innovations with 6 patents.

The XGT-1000WR is designed for simple and fast quality control of samples as big as 46 x 36 x 15cm without cutting or disassembly. Two high intensity X-Ray narrow beams can be selected: 1.2 or 0.1mm in diameter in order to make fast and accurate measurements on small portion of large samples. A real time image of the sample is displayed to ensure proper placement in the sample compartment usig a CCD camera.
