"We got a High-resolution XRD instrument, and the facilities provided are helping us to characterize epitaxial and amorphous thin films, pellets, and single crystals up to a resolution of 0.0001°. It also provides XRR and RSM facilities along with depth profiling. The software provided is pretty much user-friendly and the analysis obtained is vast enough. Whenever we got any issues we directly contact the engineer and without excuses, he reaches us for help. It's been 13 years of the machine but still provides reliable results which could be reproduced if conditions are maintained the same for example z, omega, etc."

"I've used a Panalytical X'Pert PRO Diffractometer extensively for thin film structure analysis and measurement of residual stresses. It was easy to use and had good functionality in the software for residual stress analysis. Not much aware of the cost of the machine as it was already purchased much earlier. Service by the local representative was fine."

"I've been a long time Malvern Panalitycal client (starting with Philips in the late 80's). We definitely make a giant leap with X'Pert Pro diffractometer for performing quantitative Rietveld analyses. Our first software was not High Score Plus, but we do perform analyses with GSAS. Then we tried to use both Rietveld and FullPath routine, but despite the high satisfaction with qualitative results, as regards quantitative approach I personally prefer a different Non Panalytical software. The X-Ray machine I prefer for my results is definitely X'Pert Pro."

Is ok but software for pole figures is bad.

"The equipment is easy to use but the z axis is complicated and the integration movemenet is out of range when you measure pole figures, and configuration for epitaxia is difficult. Related to service in Mexico, it is ok but some people are lazy and slow. They make mistake with some consumables meaning I don't get good results."
