"I have used Thermo and AB Sciex triple quadropole instruments in addition to Waters Xevo to measure cellular phosphoinositides that have been derivatized with trimethylsilyl-diazomethane. The Waters Xevo TQ S with Acquity UPLC and MassLynx software tops them all for ease of use and reproducibility. While they may all have adequate sensitivities, the Xevo delivers the most consistent results with the least amount of fuss. MassLynx, while not without its glitches is by far the most intuitive and easy to use when compared with AB Sciex and Thermo Xcalibur software. Although, I was not the purchaser, this is the brand I would purchase if given the choice."

"The Waters brand is the best for LC-MS/MS, and it has been proven again with the Xevo TQ-S. The instrument puts itself top in sensitivity. If you perform some residue analysis such as antibiotics, pesticides etc in food you can choose without thinking. However the most important disadvantage is the price because it is so expensive."
