At the heart of every instrument is a transmissive Volume Phase Grating (VPG) that delivers unsurpassed optical throughput. The 1064nm model offers the most chemically informative spectral region, leaving no pixels wasted. And the solid-state spectrograph array is customized to cover the 400 – 1850 cm-1 range, which is the most chemically informative spectral region.
Unlike most sample analysis techniques, there is no sample preparation needed for Xantus Mini. It can penetrate plastic bags or clear/amber-colored glass bottles while not altering or destroying the sample, thus maintaining sample integrity.
