WesternSure® ECL Stripping Buffer by LI-COR Biosciences

WesternSure ECL Stripping Buffer provides a robust solution for stripping primary and secondary antibodies from Western blot membranes while maintaining target antigen integrity for efficient reprobing.

Stripped membranes can be used to detect different target/s with different primary antibodies or to optimize antibody concentrations that were ineffective the first time. Stripping and reprobing saves time and money and is ideal for qualitative analysis. WesternSure ECL can be used on nitrocellulose and PVDF membranes.

Note: WesternSure ECL Stripping Buffer is provided as a '5X' concentrated solution. WesternSure ECL Stripping Buffer is not recommended for loading amounts over 30 µg. It will demonstrate decreased performance when used at 2X or 5X concentration and heating the solution will not increase the stripping efficiency.
