"Easy to use and program different aspiration volumes for repeat dispensing with minimal tinkering while wearing gloves as well as adjusting tip spacing which is very useful when transfering from 1.5mL tubes on a rack (with the inevitable side tilting) to PCR strips. We also had to recalibrate/service some of our pipettes and arranging shipping and servicing in a short timeframe was easy and straightforward. Pipetting is consistent and when using grip-tips we have no issues with incorrect tip loading or variable aspiration volumes. Pre and post dispensing are also super useful when performing aspirations from low volume mastermix as we are certain we don't take any bubbles in. We have also used these pipettes on an integra robot and attaching and programming them was easy and straightforward."

"An easy to use robust electronic multichannel pipette. The automatic tip spacing adjustment allows for ease of movement between different plate formats. We use it frequently to move from 96-well stock blocks into 384-well assay plates and this avoids quadrants, making plate mapping easier. The motor drives are quite light and the clip tips mean that low pressure adding and ejection of tips is minimal force, making it much better for avoiding repetitive strain."

"This product is amazing and really speeds up the workflow. The volumes are consistent and reproducible. Changing the tip spacing and/or adding a mix is super simple. The mix function itself is good for minimizing repetitive motion injuries caused by pipetting up and down. This is a really good instrument if you are using smaller volumes in your workflow. The only downside is it is a little expensive and only uses Integra branded tips. However, if you have more than one Integra device, many of them use the same tips."

"I tried three different versions of the Integra VOYAGER electronic pipettes (125µL 12 channel, 12.5µL 12 channel and 1000µL 8 channel) and I am extremely satisfied. After an initial ramp-up to learn the commands and the spacing settings it gets very easy to use and program. Preparing an entire 384 well qPCR plate become fast and with little to no-error. Bear in mind, you need specific consumables and if you cannot afford every single pipettor also some flexibility in preparing your reagents, but after that, you are good to go! With specific 1.5mL tubes racks (the classic 5 rows per 16 columns one rectangular one) it's possible to use the 1000L VOYAGER even to semi-automate mixing and column loading during multiple DNA/RNA purifications. An absolute yes!"

"Definitely heavier than manual multi-channel pipettes, but saved so much time and energy, not to mention my relationship with my boss. I replaced my manual multichannel pipettes when I was faced with doing 8-12 plate assays in checkerboard pattern (every well has a different combination of 2 drugs being evaluated for synergistic activity). We were in a pre-grant submission push to produce several of these assays weekly and I could not have accomplished it without the Voyager and fixed tip Viaflo pipettes. They are not perfect (4.5 stars,) but I'd give them all 5 stars for our satisfaction with them."

"We have the 6 and the 8 channel Voyager adjustable tip spacing pipette. Once you figured out how to program the pipettes (I haven't tried the online program, just used the programming on the pipette) setting them up for your experiment is a breeze. Pipetting from 96 to 48 well plates and from 48 to 24 well plates is easy and time saving. The grip tip system allows for flawless pipetting and accuracy. These are truly amazing pipettes that make changing well plates formats easy and fast. I would highly recommend these adjustable tip spacing pipettes to anyone needing to use different well plate formats in their experiments and want to do this fast, easy and dependable. I wouldn't like to do a targeting project again without using these Voyagers!"

"INTEGRABioscience’s Voyager II Adjustable Tip Spacing Pipettes are my favorite equipment to work with in the lab! They are awesome pipettes! They are ergonomic and efficient because their features enable the user to avoid extra movement that they would otherwise perform in order to accomplish a particular task. For instance, the adjustable spacing allows the user to transfer multiple samples (up to 8 with the 8-channel version) from microcentrifuge tubes on a rack directly into a PCR tray. (The rack and PCR tray have different spacing, which would make transfer using a standard multi-channel pipette impossible because its spacing only works for the PCR tray.) Without this feature, the user would either have to pipette the samples one-by-one manually or, if applicable, with a single-channel multi-dispensing pipette at best. Not only does this pipette save my hands from repetitive motion, but it is also a significant time-saver--- it cuts the time it would normally take for me to dilute or dispense samples in half. I use the INTEGRA Voyager pipettes for Pre-PCR methods (in an HLA lab) such as RSSO, SBT, NGS, and KIR, and now have also started using it for antibody assays since I rotated benches. I use it to dilute samples for Pre-amplification set-up since it allows me to dilute up to 8 samples at a time. Additionally, in the case of NGS, I use the "Pipet/Mix" function because dilutions are made on a PCR tray instead of in microcentrifuge tubes (which would then be vortexed afterwards). The volume, mix cycles, mix speed, and aspiration speed can all be customized to preference. I also use the Voyager to dispense my samples; not only can I dispense 8 samples at a time because it’s a multi-channel pipette with adjustable spacing, but I can also multi-dispense the same samples to different wells (a double time saver). For RSSO, I use the "Repeat Dispense" function to dispense my samples from microcentrifuge tubes on a rack to the locations for the A, B, C, and DR loci in a PCR tray, but the "Variable Dispense" function to dispense samples to the DQ and DP loci (for SBT, I can go across all 6 loci after just one aspiration with the "Repeat Dispense" function). The samples ordered for the DQ and DP tests in RSSO are the same, but different volumes are required: I need to dispense 1 uL of sample for DQ and 2 uL for DP. With “Variable Dispense,” the Voyager allows me to aspirate and dispense up to 8 samples from one locus to the next without having to go back into the dilution tubes again because of the different volume needed. The Variable Dispense function also allows the user to specify the number of dispenses desired, as well as the speed and volume for each Dispense. I use the Voyager for basic and simple steps, but if preferred, and for longer assays with repetitive steps, the user can also save time by using “Custom” to program their steps into the pipette, so that they only have to press one button (“Run”) to move from one step to another, and the pipette will adjust the spacing, volume, etc. as specified by the routine. I also like the fact that the Voyager utilizes Grip Tips. They have a secure fit that click into place without much force, which increases the precision and accuracy of volumes during pipetting. Moreover, the Voyager pipettes are lightweight even with all the features they provide. This is such an incredible pipette, I don’t think I can go back to performing my work without it!"

"Extremely easy to use and great accuracy. The ability to set spacing is a great feature of the VOYAGER multichannel pipette, which really allows us to plate/fix cells in various plate formats. My favorite is the snap-on GripTip design that ensures all tips to fit perfectly without using much force. This design also prevents damage to the tips of pipette from long-term jamming, which is the most common cause for volume inaccuracy (especially important for qPCR and sequencing library preparation). At a price slightly higher than multichannel pipettes made by other companies, it is worth it for the accuracy and versatility."

"This is possibly the best pipette I have ever used, and everyone on our experimental staff agrees. Smooth operation, user-friendly, accessible electronic interfaces and incredible repeatability in operation means this is my first choice for liquid movement in the lab. Utilizing this pipette for 384-well plate construction, it's a real time-saver and very precise. A key thing to mention with this pipette is its level of control - fine adjustments of as low as 0.1ul can be made, as well as speed of dispensation and the addition of mix cycles being just a button press away, so easy alterations can be made without breaking away from task. Additionally the electronic, on the fly tip spacing means you can switch from different plate/well sizes mid-task, which really cuts down on the repetitive strain and repeated switching between different equipment. Along with this the pipette is reliable to a fault - you can actually bash the tips on a bench several times (the rep actually demonstrated this)."

The VOYAGER electronic pipettes enable users to change the tip spacing electronically with the push of a button. Up to three different tip spacings from 4.5 mm to 33 mm can be set and saved.
