Volumetric flasks, class A, made of PMP plastic, for light-sensitive substances

VITLAB GmbH
Volumetric flasks, class A, made of PMP plastic, for light-sensitive substances

Description

Light-sensitive substances require protection against light and particularly against the effects of UV light to extend their durability. VITLAB has therefore developed a special pigmented PMP plastic volumetric flask that protects a sample against light. The protection is equivalent to a sun protection factor of almost 20. Therefore, in the UV range from 280 nm and the upper visible range from
580 nm, the VITLAB® opaque volumetric flask even surpasses high-grade brown glass volumetric flasks by far.

Every single volumetric flask offers the accustomed VITLAB Class A accuracy in accordance with DIN EN ISO 1042 and has been individually calibrated to
contain (´In´) at a reference temperature of 20 °C. The superior level of break resistance and the lightweight material make the volumetric flasks VITLAB® opaque an attractive alternative to conventional glass volumetric flasks.

The flasks are available in sizes from 10 ml to 1000 ml.
