If you want to smash up your solid sample, use this.
Rating: 4.3

  • Application Area: Pulverising glass, mineral and ceramic samples

"This is used in a ceramic laboratory to reduce samples to powder, a very useful piece of equipment. We have 3 different vibrating discs used to load samples, one made of steel, one with an agate surface and one made of tungsten carbide. I usually use the steel disc, if the tungsten carbide disc is used then W lines can be detected by XRF on the powdered samples."

The Vibratory Disc Mill RS 200 is suitable for the extremely quick, loss-free and reproducible grinding of medium-hard, hard, brittle and fibrous materials to analytical fineness. Grinding sets made from hardened hardened steel, tungsten carbide, agate, zirconium oxide and steel for grinding without heavy-metal contamination permit a wide range of applications. The RS 200 is primarily used for sample preparation for spectral analysis.
