Description
The UV-3600 UV-VIS-NIR Spectrophotometer is a new additional model in our product lineup of high-end UV-VIS-NIR spectrophotometers.
The UV-3600, a successor model to the UV-3150/3101, is a unique UV-VIS-NIR instrument that provides for optimum sensitivity from 185-3,300nm.
Features
High Sensitivity - The Only 3 Detector System
Equipped with 3 detectors: A PMT detector (photomultiplier tube) for the ultraviolet and visible regions, and InGaAs and PbS detectors for near infrared region. The InGaAs detector bridges the gap between the PMT - PbS switching wavelength where sensitivity is typically low to ensure high sensitivity over the entire measurement wavelength range. With <0.00003 Abs noise at 1500 nm, the world´s lowest noise level is achieved.

"Easy to use instrument; the daily maintaining is easy to operate, robust and reliable. Sometimes we got problems with the electronic connection between the instrument and computer." |

"Not the easiest to use, but got the hang of it. I hate how it always puts white lines on the white background." |

"This instrument has been used in both Individual research on campus, as well as a learning tool for UV-VIs. It was easy to learn on, but also easy to carry further into applications. Maintenance of the instrument is very simple. It is great for student application, which is my experience with the instrument. Individual research seems highly applicable as well." |

"Excellent system, but annoying software is written by computer folks, rather than for analysts. Works well, but has some glitches -- but then these days everything does." |
