Robust, Rapid and Reproducible
Application Area:Small Molecule Pharmacokinetics
"This system is the most sensitive MS I have worked with. The platform software can be challenging and isn't very user friendly. But when you read the manual and understand the basics, it can be the only MS you ever want to work with."

Application Area:Drug Quantitation in Biological Matrices for Pharmacokinetic Measurements
"The Quantiva Triple Quad paired with a Dionex UltiMate UHPLCs a very sensitive instrument that is relatively easy to set up and use. The MS is easily the most sensitive instrument our lab has had. The biggest achieved difference witnessed over our previous Agilent and our current Thermo Quantum/Accela is the lack of baseline noise. One can achieve nearly "a UV trace" type of baseline noise, even in biological matrix, allowing for extreme sensitivity. This seems too good to be true, but is not the case. Peaks can be resolved down to less than 50 absolute units on the Y axis. I've never been able to get less than 10e2 baseline in any MS trace and that was in neat solutions/mobile phase injections, never any biological sample injections. The dynamic range is always compound dependent as users should know, but this does appear to have a greater dynamic range for all compounds we've assayed to date. The infusion pump and divert valve are built as separate USB attached, peripheral mounted "

Application Area:For SRM experiments on phosphopeptide enriched peptides
"Software is very user friendly. Creating and using SRM methods is easy as all you need to do is copy/past your table from Excel. No obvious software glitches. Detector work fine, even after being turned off for several months."
Continual changes in research and regulatory requirements drive the need for ever-lower limits of detection and quantitation.
The Thermo Scientific™ TSQ Quantiva™ Triple Quadrupole Mass Spectrometer uses active ion management to exceed even the most stringent analytical requirements with superb sensitivity, speed, and dynamic range. It does so with an ease of operation — from method development through routine maintenance— that allows users to spend more time thinking about their research and less time worrying about instrument setup and operation.
