"Easy to use and maintain. Very accurate measurement of substances. No systemic errors as seen in electronic beam balances. You can make adjustments of your own preference especially for the manual ones. Quite recommendable in chemistry labs where measurement of powder and crystals is very common. You don't need electricity as it is manual."

Application Area:Accurate weights for samples
"This was our balance of choice for weighing our tissue samples. We could also use it to weigh live mice or rats, if needed. We did not use it to do fine weights of things like buffer ingredients, other chemicals, or pharmaceuticals. However, if we had to weigh out large quantities of various chemicals, it was very good for that type of thing, since it is not enclosed in a chamber. It is a very accurate balance. It is very easy to use; the students never had any trouble after the initial training. We had great customer service, too. Definitely well worth the price for purchase."
