TraXis® Polypropylene Rack With Cover, m42000
Polypropylene rack with cover. Filled with 96 standard Micronic 1.4 ML polypropylene tubes.
The new 96-place tube rack has been designed to meet the globally recognised Society of Biomolecular Screening (SBS) Standard to ensure compatibility with most automated sample handling systems.
Using a unique open bottomed tube rack design permits both tube rack and cover to be manipulated by robotic systems avoiding time-consuming procedures. Being manufactured from solvent resistant polypropylene allows both rack and cover to be used in applications with organic solvents.
Reproducibility and absolute traceability are ensured through features that include alphanumeric (A1 - H12) visual location aids, tactile points, rack foot cut-out mounting point and the ability to mark rack side walls with individual barcodes. To conserve valuable storage space within freezers or when transporting the versatile racks, they are stackable when used with or without the cover, filled with rubes or empty.
The cover is also independently stackable. Racks can be placed next to eachother and still can be handled by robots. The new rack is compatible with the TraXis and Micronic systems microtubes enabling you to use the rack with any format of tube.
