People in the lab love trans-blot turbo.
Application Area: Western Bloting
"When we firstly acquired the Trans-Blot® Turbo™ Transfer System, I was skeptical about the semi-dry systems since I was an avid user of the wet transfer systems. After a some time and a couple of weeks trying to find the best settings for our applications we can not do with out. Saves as time and extensive use of buffers. Highly recommended. Maybe the only drawback is the percentage of high MW proteins versus lower MW proteins that are transfered. Again one must play around with the settings."

Excellent, saves time and space.
Application Area:Protein detection in a membrane
"This is one of the products that has improved the quality and time for this technique. This transfer machine saves a lot of time and money. Also, the quality of the results are amazing and the instrument uses a little area on the bench. I recommend this product"

Fast, reliable and very easy to use.
Application Area:western blot
"Very easy to use. It definitely made my life easier by significantly reducing the time required for blotting. The downside is that you have to buy the transfer packs."

Turbo charged for your western blot!!
Application Area:Western blot transfer
"The Transblot Turbo is by far the most convenient blot transfer system available. Its main advantage lies in the simultaneous transfer of 4 mini gels in a record 7 min. Although the consumable cost of transfer pack is on the high side, labs can have their own custom made transfer cassette and still it can work like a charm. All these consumables and more you can buy from BioRad without searching for those comparing websites. Its ease of use is so simple that novices in the lab can produce blots of professional quality. The BioRad after sales is worth mention as they can assist, suggest and share the user list to make it more user-friendly system. Although priced high compared to the conventional wet transfer, its high throughput compared to other existing systems in market such as iblot, makes it worth the investment for any lab"

A must have equipment for a protein lab!!!
Application Area:Protein transfer (western)
"It is very compact and easy to use. It takes only minutes to transfer the protein to the membrane, the equipment is maintenance free and very flexible, where you can opt to use with the ready pack membrane or using your own prepared membrane and buffer. The after sales service given by the supplier was also great."

"Bio-Rad’s transfer system is one of the best I have used. I have used iblot before. While most of the ways this machine is used are very similar to iblot, this machine is sturdier. There are more options for transfer. The two cassettes can hold 1–2 midi or up to 4 mini blotting sandwiches. There are so many options. We have size options with midi or mini and we also have PVDF or nitrocellulose. We also use their pre-cast gels, but it works very well with our home-made gels too. While the cost of using these systems may seem high, in reality it isn't, because we don't always factor in the cost of the person who spends time pouring gel, running gel and transferring them. Here, we save time and cost ultimately and get reliable, repeatable data. I am particularly impressed with after sales services provided. We had an issue with the cassette that our representative noticed while she was visiting and she had it replaced at no cost and without being asked to. "

It's easy to use and very handy for everyone. I am very happy with this system for western blot.
"Trans-Blot® Turbo is easy to use for the transferring of proteins from Gel. It takes very little time for transfer to complete and can do four mini gels transfer at a time. It's easy to use and very handy for everyone. It comes with loaded protocol or customizable according to requirements. I am very happy with this system for western blot. "

"It is simple, fast and easy to use semi dry transfer apparatus for westerns. It really helps when you need to do multiple western transfers a day. Even beginners can handle it without much handholding. For what it does its competitively priced. Also it doesn’t force us to use proprietary consumables unlike some of similar products from competitors. "

"It is simple to use and fast to finish for Western Blot. Western Blot takes times every step including running gel, gel transfer, and antibody treatment. It is critical to ready a membrane before end of day for overnight treatment of a primary antibody. It is not necessary to pre-soak the gel before transferring and takes only 7 minutes for transferring the gel to membrane. Another attractive thing is that it can transfer 4 gels at the same time in 7 minutes. I recommend if you regularly perform a lot of Western Blot to save your time and reduce your burden. Time is money."

"This Bio-Rad system for western transfer is a very user-friendly system. It’s versatile and is fit for any kind of run of western blots - be it with the pre-made gels or the ones made in lab. It is a very accurate system and transfers almost all the protein to the membrane. The only problem faced at times is during transfer when air bubbles get in. Otherwise it’s perfect!!"

"The product is easy to use, however the precast gels can get a little costly. The SDS gel runs fast and quick to speed up the process. We have had no issues with the apparatus itself which allows us to run four gels at once. The transfer of proteins are sufficient for a good Western blot result in which we can compare relatively easily across experimental runs. Bio-Rad usually runs great specials that will give you the apparatus free with the purchase of the SDS pre-cast gels. I have had high school students, undergraduate college students, masters students, and lab technicians use the product and they all enjoy the ease and user friendliness of the products that Bio-Rad offers. The product is very durable and we have been using the product for over three years."

"Easy to use apparatus. Works very well to transfer. We have never had any problem with this apparatus and actually have 4 of them in our lab."
The Trans-Blot Turbo Transfer System is a high-performance western blotting system designed to provide rapid transfers with high efficiency.
It combines traditional blotting techniques with modern filter paper and buffers, allowing rapid transfer of proteins from gels to membranes with minimal preparation time. The system integrates a high amperage power supply that directs current between a built-in platinized titanium anode and a stainless steel cathode. This enables blot transfer of protein in as little as 3 minutes without sacrificing performance.
The entire system is in a ready-to-use format that allows researchers to obtain their results faster and easier, with reproducibility that is difficult to achieve using traditional blotting methods. The Trans-Blot Turbo Transfer Packs includes an optimized buffer, membrane, and filter paper combination that provides superior blot transfers when paired with the Trans-Blot Turbo blotting apparatus.
