"The thincerts by Greiner are perfect to grow your cells in an air-liquid interface. They are high quality and capable of maintaining the cells intact for longer times. Because they are hanging inserts, it makes them user friendly as it is extremely easy to place them and changing plates with the use of a forcep."

"The thincerts from Greiner Bio-One GmbH are very easy to use in cell culture with high quality and relatively reasonable price. I need the thincerts quite often to analyze cytokine release in my experiments. It always gives me great results. I highly recommend the ThinCerts cell culture inserts which are suitable for a wide range of applications including transport, secretion and diffusion studies, migrational experiments, cytotoxicity testing, co-cultures, transepithelial electric resistance (TEER) measurements, as well as primary cell culture. Greiner Bio-One GmbH offers thincerts with different pore sizes and densities, they fit 6, 12 as well as 24 well plates."

Greiner Bio-One’s – ThinCert Tissue Culture Inserts consist of a porous membrane support that are significant in that they form a two compartment system to readily mimic several in vivo situations and restore native cell growth conditions in vitro. The specific features of ThinCert cell culture inserts, such as the hanging self-lift geometry and the large opening for pipette accessibility, guarantee their ease of handling.
High quality standards during the process of manufacture assure an excellent reproducibility of results obtained with Greiner ThinCert® cell culture inserts. ThinCert cell culture inserts are available in multiple well formats (6, 12, 24 well) and membrane properties with nominal pore sizes of 0.4, 1.0, 3.0 and 8.0 µm.
