Septa from Thermo Fisher Scientific are available in several types of materials, described below, to fit Thermo Fisher Scientific's GC and GC/MS instruments as well as other manufacturers’ instruments, matching different application needs.
TCS Triple layer with Teflon 280 °C
CS Silicone with Teflon 200 °C
Auto-Sep™ High Grade Silicone 320 °C
Auto-Sep T™ High Grade Silicone with Teflon 350 °C
BTO® Low Bleed Silicone 400 °C
TR-Green High Temperature, Long Life 400 °C
BTO septa are recommended for use with Thermo Scientific TRACE and FOCUS injectors, although other septa may also be used.
