"The Big Easy" EasySep™ Magnet - Immunomagnetic column-free magnet
This handheld magnet generates a high-gradient magnetic field in the interior cavity that is strong enough to separate cells labeled with EasySep™ magnetic nanoparticles without the additional magnetic field gradients provided by a column matrix. This magnet is designed to hold a standard 14 mL tube (17 x 100 mm polystyrene tube). Up to 1 x 109 cells may be processed per separation (or if selecting rare cells such as CD34+ cells, up to 2 x 109 may be processed per separation).
