TD-100 is a fully-automated analytical thermal desorption instrument that combines with any GC(MS) for the automated detection of volatile and semi-volatile organic compounds (VOCs and SVOCs) in air, materials or liquids. TD-100 is useful for chemists who work with VOCs and SVOCs where high sample throughput is demanded.
With capacity for up to 100 sorbent tubes, TD-100 is particularly well-suited to the unattended analysis of large numbers of samples, and can be applied to all aspects from research to quality control.
Applications of particular relevance include workplace or industrial air monitoring and large-scale product emissions testing.Sample security is ensured by the use of patented diffusion-locking technology, while operating costs are lowered (and instrument uptime is maximised) by the use of electrical cooling, which eliminates the need for liquid cryogen. TD-100 ensures peace of mind to the user by offering sample re-collection, which, as well as overcoming the ‘one-shot’ limitation of older TD systems, allows it to comply with international standard methods. Labor-saving options are also available to accommodate the addition of internal standards and for the dry-purging of particularly humid samples.
