Fully satisfied in every assay performed!
Application Area: Count cell lines and in particular murine B cells
"I use this product to count many cell lines, in particular murine B cells. I appreciate the precision and reproducibility in the cell number registered. The counter is very easy to use and I find very useful the peaks visualization of live/dead cells. The slides price is too expansive! "

Does not last.
Application Area:Cell culture
"I purchased the instrument upon development of a new Cell Biology Laboratory course. At first, I thought it was a great product because it was relatively easy to use & worked well for students in the course. Unfortunately, the unit lasted for just over a year before the electronic board inside it malfunctioned. As infrequently as it was used (probably less than 25 times total), I find that completely unacceptable. My options for repair include a $1655 charge or a $500 service charge just to look at the instrument & give me a quote. Seeing as I am working on a shoestring budget (in a primarily-undergraduate institute), I'm going to have to just shelve the instrument. Overall, purchasing this piece of equipment has been my worst decision in 10 years of running a lab. Severely disappointed. "

"For a large number of cell lines, the cell counter is perfect. Simple, fast and accurate! Since we have the TC20 our Millipore Scepter is only in the drawer. The Scepter was delicate, expensive and often defective. The TC20 is used all day every day and has never made problems for now about 3 Years!"

"This cell and particle counter is very easy to use, provides results in a quick and simple way, and is suitable for counting magnetic beads, to be used in immunoassays. Its cost and no need of maintenance makes it an excellent tool for lab workers, especially when compared to traditional cell counters. "

"Automated cell counting makes life so much easier as opposed to manual counting using the hemacytometer. The histogram showing cell size is extremely valuable with certain cell types. Another feature that I like is that it automatically detects whether or not trypan blue is being used and if so, adds in that dilution factor. The slides are on the pricey side but if you buy in bulk the price comes down a lot. "
The TC20 automated cell counter counts mammalian cells in one simple step using its innovative auto-focus technology and sophisticated cell counting algorithm to produce accurate cell counts in less than 30 seconds.
Upon insertion of a counting slide, the TC20 cell counter rapidly provides a total cell count (with or without trypan blue staining) and assesses cell viability via trypan blue exclusion.
120-240 V, includes instrument, power supply, USB flash drive, USB cable, 30 dual-chamber counting slides (60 counts), and 1.5 ml trypan blue.
