The SuperNova combines our hi-flux copper micro-focus source, the Nova, with one of our patented fast, high performance CCD detectors. The Nova provides more than 5x the intensity of Agilent's Enhance sealed-tube source and provides data quality comparable to modern micro-focus rotating anodes. This combination of high intensity and fast CCD enables fast, high quality data collection for even the most weakly diffracting crystals. The highly reliable and automated system needs little servicing and maximizes uptime and throughput; it is the ideal diffractometer for protein crystallography laboratories.
