"Superloops, 10 ml and 50 ml are used to inject large sample volume into a chromatographic column like affinity or Ion-exchange. Concentrating large sample volumes that come out after a molecular size exclusion chromatography, is a big problem as there is always loss of protein during concentration. This loop can be used to apply from 5-50 ml of sample to the chromatographic column. I recommend this loop to apply a sample with large volume to Ion-exchange or Affinity column but it should not be used to apply the sample to molecular exclusion chromatography because of large sample volume and also of high pressure."
