Superloop allows the introduction of large sample volumes into a pressurized fluid system. It is used together with the injection valve MV-7, INV-907, V9-Inj, or V9H-Inj and replaces a simple sample loop. Superloop works in conjunction with 7-port valves. A movable seal creates two chambers, such that buffer pumped into the upper chamber forces sample from the lower chamber without mixing or diluting the sample. Once the seal reaches the bottom of the lower chamber, a bypass channel in the Supe... Read more

"Superloops, 10 ml and 50 ml are used to inject large sample volume into a chromatographic column like affinity or Ion-exchange. Concentrating large sample volumes that come out after a molecular size exclusion chromatography, is a big problem as there is always loss of protein during concentration. This loop can be used to apply from 5-50 ml of sample to the chromatographic column. I recommend this loop to apply a sample with large volume to Ion-exchange or Affinity column but it should not be used to apply the sample to molecular exclusion chromatography because of large sample volume and also of high pressure."

Once the seal reaches the bottom of the lower chamber, a bypass channel in the Superloop 10 ml and 50 ml or a titanium valve in Superloop 150 ml allows the buffer to follow the sample to the column, if desired.

Features:

  • Superloop can be used in conjunction with 7-port valves. The patented devices enable controlled loading of large samples, either in the form of multiple small injections or a single large injection. They may also be used to inject pulses of a specific buffer solution.
  • Flexible: inject large or small sample volumes.
  • High reproducibility and recovery.
  • No gradient dilution with internal movable seal.
