The Substrate Kit for Western Blotting is a luminol based chemiluminescent detection system created for use with membrane-immobilized peroxidase labeled antibodies. The substrate is supplied as a 2-component stable solution. The disposal concerns associated with radioisotopes and low sensitivity measures associated with colorimetric systems are eliminated by the use of Chemiluminescent substrates.
This specific kit provides an efficient system for the detection of small quantities of peroxidase labeled antibodies, or any other peroxidase labeled tracer such as streptavidin.
