Unit is giving reliable and reproducible data and less maintenance
Rating: 5.0

  • Application Area: Liquid hydrocabon analysis

"Liquid hydrocarbon analyzer is very useful for refining applications and it is giving reliable and reproducible data"

Review date: 15 Dec 2020 | Simulated Distillation Analyzer

Hydrocarbon processors use distillation as the primary separation process in crude-oil refining. Understanding boiling-point distribution of hydrocarbon fractions aids producers in the production, quality control, and commercialization of petroleum streams. Simulated Distillation (SimDis), which is far less labor intensive than physical distillation, is the preferred method for characterizing boiling point distributions. Agilent manufactures ready-to-use and chemically tested SimDis analyzers that address ASTM methods D2887, D7213, D6352, and D7169.
