Its low cost makes the SE 400 appropriate for labs requiring multiple units when temperature control is not crucial. The unit base is also a convenient casting stand. To cast multiple gels use the SE615 or SE675 multiple gel casters.

Lower buffer chamber and casting stand on leveling base, upper buffer chamber, lid with cables, two 18 X 16 cm glass plates, two 16-cm clamp assemblies, two cams, Gel Seal, one 15-well 1.5-mm thick comb and one pair 1.5-mm thick spacers.
