The Sapphire autoclave is a revolution in sliding door autoclave technology. Traditional sliding door machines use a pneumatically operated sliding door and a 'blow out' seal system- which can be inherently problematic. Sapphire
The Sapphire autoclave is a revolution in sliding door autoclave technology. Traditional sliding door machines use a pneumatically operated sliding door and a 'blow out' seal system- which can be inherently problematic. The Rodwell system uses a hoist operated door and a patented 'clamp system', which physically clamps the door onto the seal. This substantially reduces door seal wear and eliminates air leaks between the door sealing system and the chamber itself. The hoist system does not suffer from 'sticking', as with pneumatically actuated doors.

1) Direct Steam Heated- Heating by means of an external steam supply.
2) Direct Steam Heated with Vacuum Air Removal for Porous Loads
3) Electrically Heated by means of a steam generator mounted below the chamber
4) Electrically Heated by means of a pre-heated steam generator for fast heat up times
5) Electrically Heated (as above) with Vacuum Air Removal for porous loads.
