The SampleScan1000's combination of a 2D tube reader and LCD display, make this one of the most intuitive single tube scanners available.  Place a tube on top of this unit and it will display the tube's ID number on the easy to read LCD.   A linear bar code scanner is easy to integrate with the SampleScan 1000 software to capture additional 1D bar code data associated with 2D bar coded tubes.   In addition, the SampleScan1000's software displays allows export of 2D data to LIMS databases.
