Fast Results Has Saved Lot of Money

"Two years ago I purchased the S1 Titan Handheld XRF. Since then, this instrument has well more than paid for itself several times over. In the semiconductor industry, we primarily focus on very small contaminants and all of our lab instruments are designed to provide very small levels of contamination (sub-ppb). However, we fail to have a good method of detecting high levels and many times items we want to test are either difficult to sample or the only way to sample them is with a destructive process. I have been able to take this handheld XRF into many areas of our factory and provide results in as little as 1 minute. Substances and surfaces that would have otherwise been dismissed or problems where no root cause found, are now being detected. There is a technique to the instrument and you do have to have experience, but the Bruker team are experts and provide all the information that they can help anyone understand the instrument and results."

The S1 TITAN is among the lightest tube-based handheld XRF analyzers on the market today. Fast analysis speed and exceptional accuracy are two key attributes that help define the S1 TITAN.
Other innovative features include an integrated touch-screen color display, 50 kV X-ray tube, SMART GradeTM timing, SharpBeamTM optimized X-ray geometry, Silicon Drift Detector (SDD), and an extremely tough housing that is sealed against humid and dusty environments.
The S1 TITAN series is available in two configurations, the S1 TITANLE and S1 TITANSP. Both use Bruker’s SharpBeam® technology.
