"We replaced our MyIQ real time PCR machine for the Corbett Rotor-Gene 6000 system and I've never got more consistent results. The rotary action means you no longer need a plate spinner to collect your sample after mixing on plate-based systems. Reactions based on a 10ul volume work consistently. The small PCR tubes take some getting used to, but our system came with a purpose built cooling block for sample loading. We regularly use SYBR green and TaqMan probes on this system and they work great. Even the software that comes with it is excellent and easy to use. Overall a great product."
