Application Area: RNA extraction from primary cells
"It made RNA extraction from a large number of samples very easy and in much less time than the Trizol method. RNA quality is good if you do DNA clean up while extracting the RNA. I've used it for my RNA Seq. and got very good RNA quality RIN ranged from 7.5-9.2"

"For my purposes, I also use the Qiazol for initial lysis/homogenization before running through the columns. It optimized my processes for extracting small amounts of frozen tissue that have either high contamination, over storage in incorrect cryopreservation environments, or contain difficult to lyse properties. The end product is of high quality and yield for any downstream applications."
