Thermo Scientific RNAse Inhibitor specifically inhibits some of the most common types of RNases making it the perfect solution to protect your RNA. Thermo Scientific RNase Inhibitor is isolated by affinity chromatography from porcine livers. This enzyme acts on type A RNases (RNase A, B and C) and functions in any enzymatic reaction buffer with pH 5-8 (optimal activity is observed at pH 7-8). Porcine RNase Inhibitor does NOT inhibit RNase T1, RNase H, RNase V1, RNase Phy M or RNase U2.
