The Andor Revolution® XD spinning disk laser microscopy system provides the framework for a range of laser-illuminated microscopy solutions, including spinning disk confocal, TIRF, photo-bleach, activation and ablation modalities. 

The laser spinning disk and live cell confocal instruments combine Andor’s iXon3 EMCCD cameras, FRAPPA and solid-state laser combiner (ALC) with Yokogawa CSU-X1 confocal scanner to provide industry-leading speed and sensitivity from a confocal system.

System components are tightly coordinated with multi-dimensional imaging software Andor iQ. Industry-leading frame rates, optical, mechanical and environmental stability, flexible scanning with fast burst and long-term time-lapse performance contribute to make these confocal systems exceptionally productive.
