Retention time locking (RTL) revolutionizes gas chromatography. With RTL, you can reproduce retention times within hundredths, even thousandths, of a minute from one Agilent GC system to another. Results are virtually identical, regardless of operator, location, inlet, or detector (including MSDs). This technique is an easy way to increase sample throughput and have greater confidence in your results.
