The XL1-Blue MRF´ Competent Cells were engineered to provide highly efficient and representational cloning of methylated DNA. These restriction-minus versions of XL1-Blue Competent Cells are deficient in all known E.coli K12 restriction systems. Use XL1-Blue MRF´ cells when cloning methylated cDNA, genomic DNA, or methylated PCR products.
