The RapidFire High-throughput MS System is widely used by laboratories for HTS and ADMET programs because it enables labs to minimize staff resources and speed up turnaround time. However, RapidFire is also a promising tool for forensic toxicology and other clinical research programs to analyze blood, plasma, urine, food, and pesticides.
For example, a recent clinical research application note describes how the RapidFire, as a front end to TOF MS, simultaneously multiplexed an entire panel of benzodiazepines in <10 seconds. The study also found a very high correlation with LC-MS/MS methods, with the RapidFire (whether in multiplexed or single runs) delivering the same results 10x faster.
