Decent instrument but frustrating at times. Uses too many consumables for my liking.
Application Area: Analyze for protein
"Results are reproducible but the instrument is somewhat fickle and the spread of duplicate samples can be wider than I like. It uses a lot of consumables! It is fairly easy to use but can be difficult to master. It has been a workhorse for our lab but when it is down it can be frustrating to obtain acceptable results again."
Manufacturer's ResponseThank you very much for the review, we are glad to hear that our rapid N cube has been a workhorse for your lab. We highly appreciate the input from our users to constantly improve our analytical instruments. Using the unique EAS REGAINER® technology in our successor model rapid N exceed® (launched in 2014), reduction metal lifetime is drastically increased in our N/protein analyzers while maintenance and consumables costs are lowered. This results in cost-efficient long-term performance of our analyzers. In case that the results should not turn out as expected, please feel free to contact our dedicated Customer or Application Support, they will be happy to help you.

"The instrument works well without more than usual maintenance problems. The price is fair and the data system works well. Service after the sale has been great, helpful without asking you to pay for each bit of advice."
Nitrogen/protein analyzer according to Dumas for routine analysis of samples such as food or animal feed up to 1 g sample weight. The rapid N cube is a fast, safe and environment-friendly alternative to the classical Kjeldahl method. The rapid N cube is a particularly reliable and durable instrument based on the most modern microelectronics and mechanics.
