Works great for our lab.
Application Area:Nucleic acid extraction
"QIAcube Connect is very straightforward to use and compatible with every QIAGEN nucleic acid extraction kit. Using this helps to avoid cross contamination rather than using plate format. Automated extraction saves time for sample processing for the next batch. QIAgen's technical service is very prompt."

It’s very essential in automated RNA extraction that would go forward for qPCR /RTPCR.
Application Area:RNA and DNA extraction
"I worked with both QIAcube and QIAsymphony at a COVID PCR unit. Both instruments are fantastic; however, the QIAcube has more benefits than the QIAsymphony, such as better ease of use. The QIAsymphony can extract a higher number of RNA samples, but QIAcube is more flexible in its technicality, it just need more space for samples."

We rely on this machine in our daily routine and it has never let us down so far.
Application Area:Automated DNA extraction
"We use the QIAcube daily for automated DNA extraction, because it provides genomic DNA of sufficient quality from a variety of patient materials (blood, saliva, DBS or buccal swabs) for all downstream applications (qPCR genotyping, NGS library prep etc.). It is easy to use and I can recommend it to others."

I can really endorse it for nucleic acid extraction.
"The QIAcube does exactly what I have expected with its purchase: The QIAcube is easy to handle and guaranties high reproducibility in extraction of high quality RNA and DNA in the expected quantities related to type and amount of starting material. However, the QIAcube achieves this only by using the kits from QIAGEN which are available for nearly all nucleic acid extraction protocols required. Since product quality and longevity of the QIAcube and also the after sales service of QIAGEN is superior I can really endorse it for nucleic acid extraction."

"The Qiacube has some unique features among DNA and RNA extraction robots. It processes 12 samples in about an hour using the same protocols and reagents that are used when the samples are processed by hand. If your samples are critical and you cannot afford to lose them then this is the platform of choice. We use the Qiacube for isolating pathogen and host samples from field collected or clinical samples. Often there is only enough samples for one try. We have used Qiagen in some of our remote lab collections in places where power failures are common. If a Qiacube fails during an extraction run you can pry it open pull your samples and finish the extraction manually."

"The QIAcube is very helpful for minipreps and gives you time to do something else. It is also nice for gel extractions, however, the downside is that it can only fit 12 samples."

Application Area:RNA/DNA purification
"Well designed, small size- doesn't take a lot of space, can be placed on a workbench. Provides RNA/DNA of high quality and good yields. Not too many moving parts- it checks for errors and doesn't let you start if tips are missing/buffer volumes are low, fast."
For fully automated sample prep using QIAGEN spin-column kits
The innovative QIAcube uses advanced technology to process QIAGEN spin columns, enabling seamless integration of automated, low-throughput sample prep into the laboratory workflow. No change of purification chemistry is required, assuring fast startup and immediate results. All steps in the purification procedure are fully automated — up to 12 samples can be processed per run.
