"Qiagen's miniprep kit has been a mainstay of our research for decades. Easy to use and robust. We have done side-by-side comparisons with other company's kits. For the most part, they're highly comparable now but Qiagen kits still seem to provide the best consistency batch to batch."

"The QIAamp DNA mini kit is used for genomic DNA isolation and gives high-quality genomic DNA readily available for downstream processes like PCR. The protocol is easy and simple to follow. There is minimal waste generated during the whole procedure for the extraction. The price is a bit higher than other available kits but worth using and saves time and gets better results."
