"It's an OK piece of instrument, but can't live without it."

"MetID for small molecules as well as large molecules (incl. intact antibody). Very reliable results, good spectra quality, good mass accuracy, good sensitivity. System stability with Excalibur not very stable, especially when autosampler stops or LC not ready. Excalibur and the data file system are old fashioned."

"It works well except for issues with electronics boards going out and constant issue with negative mode."

"There were issues in communication about when we would receive (sales rep was out of the office and left no out of office reply or secondary contact) during the purchasing process, and the installation and qualification took much longer than should have been required. So between the sale and installation, Thermo has some areas that could be tweaked. However, for our main use, which is the determination of unknown small molecule metabolites/degradants/impurities, this instrument is extremely powerful and has already made our lab much more efficient and a better partner for our clients. For this qualitative use and after operating, and I would give it five stars. "
