"Had significant issues during the installation and subsequent 6 months until upfront de-ionized and upfront activated carbon beds installed. A 24hr re-circulation was also installed prior to Elga to ensure simply final polishing performed by Elga. Had issues with hand dispenser and holding arm."

"When working, the system provided quality water. We are a small undergraduate institution and have low usage rates compared to larger institutions. We continually had problems with leaking connections and the uv bulb. The biggest problem was that the purification packs have electronic tags on them containing their manufacturing date. Once the cartridge would reach a certain age you couldn't use them. We had back up packs that had never been installed but the machine would not accept them because they were too "old". This was very frustrating and a huge waste of money. However the service guys were very knowledgeable and great to work with."

"It is kind of expensive up-keep. The customer service was pretty decent; however, the parts that you need to buy can get very pricey, very quickly. We have had it break down in our lab a few times, but have been able to get it started again relatively quickly. "

"The ELGA water machine we use in our laboratory is expensive in upkeep and replacement parts every 6 months or so is sometimes difficult for the funding environment. It would be beneficial to extend the life expectancy of the consumables necessary for the machine to operate. Other than this issue, the water machine is easy to use."
