It is not as loud as the gino grinder still very efficient at homogenizing all sorts of tissues. We have had the Evo for less than a year and it is used frequently. We have not had any issues with the machine or the cooling container. Temperature control can be tricky when homogenizing for a long period of time. The temperature does drop rather quickly and samples do run the risk of freezing. We have been able to avoid this, so far."

"We bought this device to replace our old Fast-prep. We also included the cryolis option, in order to keep our samples at a reasonnable temperature. With the cooling system, we don't need to take out the samples to put them on ice to chill anymore. This saves a lot of time. We also took more racks to enable fast unloading/loading of the samples. The system is really easy to use and we are really happy with it. There a few minor details, however, that could be mentionned : - the closing system cold use some improvements. With the vibrations generated, some screws from the lids started to move. So we play with the compressed air valve to stop the cooling"
